27th April 2010
Wow. It's over a year since anyone had any news from us! Things are ok, we haven't split up or anything, it's just we've grown up a bit and we have had to take some time off from MAC to work on projects, move houses, plan weddings and do that real life stuff!
Chris has done some amazing solo stuff as well as some jingles for the Dave Gorman radio show! You can check his sounds here: http://www.myspace.com/chrisdrivermusic
We have still been selling a few CD's, so thanks to everyone that has been buying them and we hope you are still enjoying our rocking sounds and thanks for stopping by the website. It does mean a lot.
We haven't performed in a while and it's safe to say we are missing it. We hope to announce some new shows this year, but we don’t know how things will plan out as yet.
We've had a great few years, but sometimes things come to a point and you have to reflect and make a decision on what to do next. We have been privileged to travel to some wicked places around the world that we will never visit again (or have had the chance to visit in the first place) and that has been amazing for us. We have also toured around the UK god knows how many times, and each and every time something new and exciting has happened along the way. We will never be able to replace these memories and I guess the predicament is we don’t want to water down the experiences we have had and replace them with new not so good ones!
So there it is, the challenge is for us is to write some new sweet songs with a new take on it all, to reinvigorate our selves and get back out there.
I guess only time will tell…
Watch this space.
Andy.

We've announced a show in Leicester!
18 June 2009
Shed - Leicester
MAC headline gig.
5th February 2009
The gig at the Charlotte, Leicester on Feb 11 is no longer going to be happening as our famous local venue has closed it doors. It recently went into administration and without financial support it cannot continue to operate. We sincerley hope the doors are re-opened again in the not too distant future and when they do, we'll be back there with face-melting sounds.
We've had some amazing shows at the Charlotte over the past 12 years (with MAC and our first bands and side bands; Willow, Switch, Comic Book Heroes, Jerky, Jar, Sixty Seventh Morning, Toy Heroes), and we've seen many of our favourite bands perform there. It is a legendery venue, sure it has it's faults, but who doesn't LOVE going to a gig or playing at the Charlotte??
17th January 2009
We play 2 gigs in February. Please come out as it could be our last show at the Charlotte as it is has recently gone into administration! It's a great venue and we'd love for you to come out and show your support for MAC and for the Charlotte!

Some sweet comments from the press...
'Leaves the rest of the country’s rock bands biting dust. My Awesome Compilation have come out fighting and they sound fantastic.' New Noise
'Outstanding second release from a truly great British rock band. Frontiers may just be the vessel to sail the band through the rough seas of indie-blandness, and into the sunny-warm waters of British rock glory. It’s different. It’s unique. It’s…like an Awesome Compilation of potentially great, angry, and ballsy rock songs. MAC have created their finest work to date.' Subba Culture
'Incredibly catchy, the vocals come belting through and the guitars are hard hitting. The band is now the best that it has ever been.' Alt UK
